EDGEsport to Air Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023 in 114 Territories

EDGEsport, the global adventure sport and active lifestyle TV channel owned and operated by IMG, will air the upcoming edition of the Invictus Games for the first time, in 114 territories across the world, including Germany, UK, USA and Australia. As a global broadcaster of the Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023, the channel will air more than 40 hours of live action from the 6th edition of the biennial sports competition that kicks off in Düsseldorf this Saturday, September 9th.

This edition of the Invictus Games is the first to be aired on EDGEsport, further diversifying the channel’s offering and its package for broadcasters and audiences around the world. EDGEsport already features some of the world’s best live, highlight and entertainment shows across a wide range of adventure sports including skateboarding, mountain biking, motorsport, surfing, skiing, snowboarding, running and more.

The Invictus Games Dusseldorf 2023 presented by Boeing will be hosted by the German Armed Forces and the City of Düsseldorf from 9th to 16th September. More than 500 competitors from 21 countries are expected to compete in 10 disciplines, including sitting volleyball, indoor rowing, powerlifting, wheelchair rugby, athletics, cycling, swimming and more. For the first time in the history of the Invictus Games the participants will compete in table tennis.
